Software Engineer - I- AI/ML

Devsinc is seeking a motivated and skilled Software Engineer I specializing in AI/ML with at least 1.5 years of professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Python development, preferably after graduation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python programming, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and Agentic AI. Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused, services environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain AI/ML applications and intelligent solutions primarily using Python. Develop and integrate Generative AI applications leveraging Large Language Models, prompt engineering, and RAG techniques. Build and implement Agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex. Create scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with FastAPI, Flask, or Django. Implement Machine Learning and Deep Learning models using Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. Integrate APIs from LLM providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and open-source models into practical applications. Work with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, or Weaviate to enable semantic search and retrieval. Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, optimization, and fine-tuning. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate AI/ML models into scalable systems. Support deployment, monitoring, debugging, and performance optimization of AI/ML models. Participate actively in technical discussions, code reviews, and problem-solving while adhering to software development best practices. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field. Minimum of 1.5 years of professional experience in AI/ML development, preferably post-graduation. Strong proficiency in Python programming, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, Algorithms (DSA), and logical problem-solving. Hands-on experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. Practical experience in developing Generative AI applications, integrating LLMs, building RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering. Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex. Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend applications using FastAPI, Flask, or Django. Understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), transformers, embeddings, and vector databases. Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Working knowledge of Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and software engineering best practices. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong analytical thinking, debugging, coding, and real-world problem-solving skills. Excellent English communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly and collaborating effectively. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, services-based environment while working with international teams and adapting to evolving project requirements.
