We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer I with at least one year of professional software development experience. This role is perfect for someone passionate about coding, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to cloud hosting products. Candidates should have a strong foundation in either ReactJS or PHP/Laravel and a desire to grow into a full-stack engineering role. We value proactive problem solvers who take ownership and are comfortable working across various parts of the technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain reliable and scalable software features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, QA, and engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to timely resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to engineering best practices.
- Learn and contribute across frontend, backend, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver within agreed timelines.
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge and development skills.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional software development experience.
- Strong understanding of software development fundamentals.
- Proficient coding and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for software development and cloud hosting technologies.
- Interest in evolving into a full-stack engineer.
- Proactive, responsible, and willing to take ownership of work.
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

*Option 1: ReactJS*

- Hands-on experience with ReactJS and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with React components, hooks, state management, and application lifecycle.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design.
- Understanding of frontend performance and browser compatibility.
- TypeScript knowledge is a plus.

*Option 2: PHP/Laravel*

- Practical experience with PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and MVC architecture.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Laravel routing, middleware, authentication, queues, and database migrations.
- Ability to write clean, reusable backend code.
- Knowledge of automated testing in Laravel is a plus.

Additional Skills

- Working knowledge of Git and GitHub.
- Good understanding of MySQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with API development and integration.
- Basic Linux and command-line skills.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, hosting platforms, networking, containers, or deployment processes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or automated testing is a plus.
