Confiz is looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join its Finance Technology Delivery team. This role focuses on accelerating innovation and supporting future growth by developing critical integrations between source data, financial SaaS platforms, and client applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust software solutions that drive efficiency and reliability in financial technology systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, multidimensional projects involving collaboration across multiple teams.
- Guide and collaborate with other software engineers on design best practices and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Resolve challenging engineering problems by working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate troubleshooting and root cause analysis, engaging relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Create, evaluate, and contribute to detailed feature designs.
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions following agile methodologies.
- Mentor team members to elevate technical expertise across a broad range of topics.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of IT concepts, trends, and best practices, particularly related to cloud technologies and system integrations.
- Apply and promote secure coding practices and principles of secure system design.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Strong understanding of RESTful architecture and microservices design.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Java; familiarity with additional languages like Python is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience developing near real-time data processing solutions using Kafka is advantageous.
- Familiarity with integrations involving financial planning systems such as Anaplan and Oracle is a plus.
