Software Engineer in Test

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Software Engineer in Test based in the Lahore District. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and suites for backend services and web applications. This role involves writing testable code, creating and executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with software engineers, product teams, and QA colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality software releases. Additionally, the role includes participating in code reviews, enhancing test coverage, optimizing performance, and contributing to continuous integration and delivery pipelines. The Software Engineer in Test will also play a key role in refining testing standards, tools, and best practices across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using C# and modern automation methodologies.
- Develop automation solutions for Web, Mobile, and API applications.
- Design and develop APIs and automation services to support testing efforts.
- Build reusable automation libraries, components, and testing utilities to improve efficiency.
- Develop custom automation frameworks using JMeter integrated with Groovy scripting.
- Create reusable Groovy scripts for automation workflows, data processing, and framework enhancements.
- Work with SQL databases for validation, data management, and automation support.
- Develop service workers, schedulers, background services, and automation execution workflows.
- Support application deployment processes and environment configuration management.
- Troubleshoot automation issues and continuously improve framework stability and reliability.

Required Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in C# programming and solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Proven experience in developing automation frameworks and reusable test components.
- Deep understanding of API architecture, development, and integration techniques.
- Experience with Web and Mobile automation frameworks and tools.
- Good working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with SQL databases and database concepts for data validation and automation support.
- Proficiency in developing automation frameworks using JMeter and Groovy scripting.
- Ability to create custom Groovy scripts for automation workflows and framework enhancements.
- Familiarity with application deployment processes and environment management.
