Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modernize software solutions across Balio’s portfolio companies, working closely with product managers and company teams to understand customer needs.
- Improve existing systems while maintaining critical business rules and workflows that customers rely on.
- Own the full lifecycle of work, from technical design through to production deployment.
- Make informed decisions regarding architecture, performance, and system reliability.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance development processes, ensuring rigorous testing and maintaining high code quality.
- Release, monitor, and maintain software products, sharing effective practices and approaches across the group.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in building and maintaining production-level software.
- Strong programming fundamentals coupled with sound judgment in system design.
- Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar codebases and navigate ambiguous technical challenges.
- Clear communication skills and a strong sense of ownership from problem identification through to delivery.
