Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in API integrations and full-stack development to join a dynamic, remote team working U.S. business hours. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party system integrations, ensuring secure authentication and authorization.
- Troubleshoot and optimize API communication and backend connectivity to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Build scalable backend services using languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript, and automate internal tools and workflows.
- Architect efficient business logic and system designs that enhance maintainability and application performance.
- Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces with frameworks like React or Angular, collaborating closely with Product and Design teams.
- Explore and implement AI-powered features and automation, integrating modern AI tools and APIs where appropriate.
- Participate actively in architecture discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions and troubleshoot production issues to improve system stability.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
- Hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party platforms.
- Strong understanding of backend development principles and application architecture.
- Frontend development experience with React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with backend technologies like Node.js, Flask, or equivalents.
- Experience using Git and modern software development workflows.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative remote team environment.
