Software Engineer - Level III (FRONT END FOCUSED - / Web UI REACT/ JavaScript /) Costa Rica ONLY - Remote

We are looking for a skilled Software Developer with expertise in front-end and web UI technologies, including React, JavaScript, Golang, and modern cloud platforms, to support supply chain services and warehouse management systems. In this role, you will be involved in designing, architecting, and implementing software solutions that address complex business challenges and enhance operational efficiency across supply chain operations. You will help build scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems that underpin critical business processes, enabling the development and deployment of modern supply chain platforms managing logistics, warehouse operations, and distributed cloud environments. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver maintainable, scalable, and well-architected software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver front-end features end-to-end, including design, implementation, and ongoing support, with occasional backend development in Java.
- Develop reusable components for Checkout and Wishlist experiences and contribute to shared components used across the company’s website.
- Translate written requirements, designs, and wireframes into high-quality, production-ready code.
- Work closely with diverse, cross-functional teams, including partner squads beyond the immediate team, to ensure alignment and quality delivery.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional front-end engineering experience building production web applications.
- Recent, hands-on experience with Web UI development using JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Redux, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs using languages like Java, Golang, or Python.
- Proficiency in test automation across the testing pyramid, including unit, integration, and end-to-end/regression testing, utilizing tools such as Playwright.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern infrastructure tooling such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of observability and operations tools like New Relic, Splunk, and CloudWatch.
- Strong foundation in front-end architecture, component design, and design patterns.
- Understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility best practices.
- Comfortable working in an AI-first development environment, leveraging tools like Claude Code as part of daily engineering workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A passion for writing clean code, operational excellence, and delivering customer impact.

Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
