Software Engineer - MERN

Devsinc is seeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer specializing in the MERN stack to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to create scalable, user-focused solutions that enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications utilizing the MERN stack.
- Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces with React.js.
- Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and optimize MongoDB databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in software development.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Practical experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Working knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
- Eligibility to work in Pakistan.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with AWS services is a plus.
- Knowledge of TypeScript is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Docker or containerization technologies is preferred.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
