Software Engineer & Project Closer

DevVaults is seeking a dynamic and motivated professional who can effectively bridge the gap between software development and client acquisition. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with a focus on clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Develop and support websites, web applications, APIs, and custom software solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, debug code, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate closely with developers and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Integrate third-party APIs and databases as needed.
- Adhere to coding standards, utilize Git for version control, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Project Closing & Client Management

- Engage with potential clients interested in software development services to understand their requirements, business goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Clearly explain technical solutions, software features, and project deliverables to clients in an accessible manner.
- Prepare and present detailed project proposals, quotations, and technical scopes in coordination with internal teams.
- Conduct client meetings, follow up on leads, negotiate pricing, and successfully close deals.
- Convert qualified prospects into paying clients while ensuring a smooth handover to the development team.
- Maintain ongoing client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Track leads, client communications, project proposals, and closed deals to support business growth.
- Contribute actively to both technical project delivery and expanding the company’s client base.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Python, PHP, Java, or C#.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, databases, APIs, and version control systems.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients.
- Confidence in conducting client meetings, handling objections, and negotiating project terms.
- Familiarity with project scope definition, timelines, estimates, and deliverables.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in Lahore, Pakistan.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in both software development and client-facing technical roles.
- Previous background in IT sales, software agency sales, or project closing.
- Knowledge of web development, mobile applications, custom software solutions, or AI-powered technologies.
- Experience preparing technical proposals and project estimates.
- A portfolio, GitHub profile, or examples of completed projects demonstrating technical capabilities.

Additional Information

Candidates should be comfortable working onsite in DHA Raya, Phase 6, with working hours from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Applicants will be asked about their years of experience in sales, business development, or project closing, as well as their previous success in closing deals for software development services, websites, or mobile applications. Salary expectations will also be discussed during the application process.
