Join ValueMomentum as a Software Engineer focused on test automation within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end automation efforts for critical web and API applications. Your work will include analyzing requirements, designing automation frameworks, developing scripts, diagnosing failures, and integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a Scrum environment, you will help drive quality metrics, promote best practices in automation, and mentor peers to enhance overall testing standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements to design comprehensive automation scripts and execution plans.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Automate various test cases, including smoke, functional, end-to-end, and regression tests.
- Integrate automated test suites into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Investigate automation script failures, identify root causes, implement fixes, and re-execute tests.
- Conduct peer reviews of automation code and provide constructive feedback to improve quality.
- Track and report automation metrics such as first-time pass rates and execution coverage to internal teams and client leadership.
- Advocate for and implement automation best practices, tools, and accelerators aligned with current technology trends.
- Guide and upskill team members on new automation capabilities and frameworks.
- Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies and provide regular updates on automation progress to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in functional, in-sprint, end-to-end, and regression automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in C#, Playwright automation framework, and REST API testing.
- Solid understanding of automation framework architecture and design principles.
- Experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and version control systems like Git.
- Proven ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams, including distributed environments.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and driving quality metrics, including first-time pass rates.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly report progress and issues to stakeholders.
- Mandatory domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.
