Software Engineer.MGN Pak - Digital Corporate WDS.Corporate & Investment Banking Group-PAKCOE

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with extensive experience in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services within a cloud-native environment. This role requires a strong focus on building robust RESTful APIs, implementing secure and efficient microservices, and collaborating on architectural and technical design decisions to ensure high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java versions 8, 11, or 17.
- Build and maintain microservices leveraging Spring Boot framework.
- Implement service-to-service communication protocols such as REST and Kafka.
- Work with both relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Write clean, testable, and production-grade code adhering to best practices.
- Participate actively in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design reviews.
- Implement security mechanisms including JWT and OAuth2 for authentication and authorization.
- Optimize application performance and scalability to meet business needs.
- Follow continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues promptly and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Required Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Java programming and solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for building microservices.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Microservices architecture.
- Expertise in developing RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of databases including SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related automation tools.
