Software Project & Operations Manager

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Software Project & Operations Manager based in Peshawar, Pakistan. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of a software development house, managing multiple development teams, and ensuring smooth project workflows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating deadlines, maintaining thorough documentation, preparing reports, identifying and mitigating risks, and driving continuous process improvements. This position operates on an evening shift schedule and offers a competitive salary range.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage software development teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Oversee project workflows, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to projects, processes, and operational activities.
- Prepare regular reports on project status, risks, and operational metrics for senior management.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and team productivity.
- Facilitate communication between different departments to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Manage resource allocation and resolve any operational bottlenecks that arise during project execution.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software project management or operations management within a software development environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate between teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work the evening shift as per operational requirements.
