Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with 1 to 2 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in both manual and automation testing and a keen interest in working with AI-based applications and features. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual and automated testing of web and software applications to ensure functionality and performance.
- Design, write, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and comprehensive test plans.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and API testing to validate software quality.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to maintain high standards of software quality.
- Validate application usability, performance, and reliability, with a focus on AI-powered features.
- Test AI-driven applications by verifying AI outputs and identifying any unexpected or incorrect behavior.
- Support the QA process throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to final release.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide constructive QA feedback to improve product quality.
- Maintain clear and organized documentation of test results, defects, and testing activities.

Required Qualifications

- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in manual testing methodologies.
- Experience with automation testing and familiarity with automation tools or frameworks.
- Understanding of API testing and proficiency with tools such as Postman.
- Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL is advantageous.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in AI/ML testing and working with AI-based applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
