Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our dynamic team at Softmatic Solutions, located in Garden Town, Lahore. This is a full-time, onsite position with working hours from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have between six months to two years of experience in manual testing, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply. Candidates preferably hold a degree from recognized universities such as PUCIT, UMT, FAST, NUST, FC, or COMSATS. At Softmatic Solutions, we specialize in software and game development using technologies like Xamarin, Cocos2d, Unity, Flutter, Native Android, and iOS, along with WordPress, .NET, and Power BI for business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute thorough manual testing on websites and applications to ensure functionality and quality.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand new features and project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues systematically.
- Ensure applications are bug-free and perform efficiently across multiple platforms.
- Prepare and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, and comprehensive documentation.
- Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing as part of the QA process.
- Communicate testing results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- Between six months and two years of experience in Quality Assurance, primarily manual testing.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and waterfall models.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Preferably a graduate from PUCIT, UMT, FAST, NUST, FC, or COMSATS.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
