Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team at Softmatic Solutions, located in Garden Town, Lahore. This is a full-time, onsite position with working hours from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have between six months to two years of experience in manual testing, including fresh graduates from reputable universities such as PUCIT, UMT, FAST, NUST, FC, or COMSATS. At Softmatic Solutions, we specialize in software and game development using technologies like Xamarin, Cocos2d, Unity, Flutter, Native Android, and iOS, as well as WordPress, .NET solutions, and Power BI for business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing on websites and applications to ensure functionality and quality.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand new features and project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Verify that software products are free of bugs and perform efficiently across multiple platforms.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive test cases, scripts, and related documentation.
- Execute regression, functional, and performance testing as needed.
- Communicate test results and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- Between 6 months and 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on manual testing.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and the Waterfall model.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Preferably a graduate from one of the following institutions: PUCIT, UMT, FAST, NUST, FC, or COMSATS.
