Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient QA Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in manual software testing and a foundational understanding of test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications through rigorous testing and collaboration with development teams. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid grasp of software testing methodologies, and the ability to work independently to deliver thorough test coverage.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive manual testing of web applications to identify defects and ensure functionality.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and regression test suites to validate software quality.
- Conduct various types of testing including functional, integration, regression, and API testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using appropriate tools and processes.
- Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and facilitate timely resolution.
- Support and contribute to ongoing test automation efforts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on manual testing.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and QA methodologies.
- Strong technical knowledge of APIs, databases, SQL, and web technologies.
- Experience using API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic familiarity with automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
