Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern

Techxaro Pvt. Ltd is seeking a motivated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern to join their team in Model Town, Lahore. This full-time, paid internship runs for 3 to 4 months with regular working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role offers hands-on experience in testing web and software applications to ensure their quality, functionality, and reliability. As an intern, you will execute test cases, identify and report bugs, verify fixes, and collaborate closely with developers to enhance product quality. This position provides exposure to software testing methodologies, quality standards, and testing tools within a dynamic software development environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, designing, and executing test cases to validate software functionality.
- Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly with clear reproduction steps and evidence.
- Write high-quality bug reports and collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform manual testing on websites and conduct regression testing after bug fixes.
- Ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures.
- Contribute to building automated tests for critical workflows, including API and UI testing.
- Provide detailed documentation and reports on testing outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software quality assurance.

Required Qualifications:
- Education ranging from Matriculation to a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Software Quality Assurance and software testing concepts.
- Familiarity with manual testing, bug reporting, and test case execution.
- Basic knowledge of tools such as Jira, Trello, Postman, or Microsoft Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Eagerness to learn software testing processes and quality standards.
- Must have a personal laptop, which is mandatory for this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Competitive stipend ranging from PKR 10,000 to 20,000 per month, based on interview performance and knowledge.
