Software Quality Assurance (SQA)

EvolveDash, a B2B software services and consultancy company catering to mid-market clients across the US and Canada, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join their team in Lahore, DHA Phase 6. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to one year of experience who are passionate about quality assurance and eager to grow in the field. The company specializes in designing and building web, mobile, and AI products, and the SQA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring that every release meets high standards before reaching clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze requirements, user stories, and design documents to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications, including functional, regression, smoke, UI, and cross-browser/device testing.
- Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like Jira, providing detailed descriptions, reproduction steps, screenshots, and severity levels.
- Retest resolved issues and conduct regression testing prior to each product release.
- Test APIs using Postman to verify functionality and performance.
- Maintain and update test cases, checklists, and test reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release review meetings alongside the development team.
- Gradually learn and contribute to test automation efforts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Up to one year of experience in software testing or quality assurance, including internships and final-year academic projects.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and the bug life cycle.
- Familiarity with various testing types and techniques, such as functional, regression, smoke, sanity, black box, and boundary value testing.
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and an understanding of how web applications and APIs function.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail, with a curious and analytical mindset.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
