Software Test Engineer

Bytebricks is seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with a strong focus on automation and business logic validation. This fully remote role is ideal for someone with 2 to 3 years of experience who goes beyond surface-level UI testing to deeply understand the workflows and logic behind the software. Key Responsibilities:
- Logic Over Looks: Conduct thorough testing of business workflows and underlying logic rather than just focusing on superficial UI elements.
- Automation First: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Python, JavaScript, Cypress, and Selenium to support rapid and reliable software releases.
- ClickUp Mastery: Manage the entire bug lifecycle and reporting process exclusively through ClickUp, ensuring clear and efficient communication of issues.
- API Testing: Perform backend validation using Postman to confirm API stability and robustness under various conditions.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
- Proven expertise in test automation frameworks and scripting.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the ability to validate complex business logic.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, self-managed environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
