About the Position!
Soloinsight Pvt. Ltd.(a subsidiary of Soloinsight Inc.) is looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will be responsible for the technical implementation of current and future data warehouse, business intelligence solutions, and data migration strategies, Pentaho and Microsoft Power BI.
You will be part of a team that challenges each other, learns together, and never leaves a mate behind in progress and growth.
What will you do?
Job Role and Duties:
- Implement new business intelligence and data warehouse requirements using MySQL, ETL, Business Intelligence tools.
- Strong understanding of Transactional and Dimensional Data Modeling, Data Warehousing Concepts
- Develop, implement, optimize and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) solutions to bring new data into warehouse.
- Deploy ETL Packages/Cubes on Development/Test environment and provide deployment instructions for further deployment on production.
- Develop optimized database design to achieve acceptable performance by turning view, tables, and indexes for proper response time.
- Full life cycle development and maintenance of data warehouse, ETL, and business intelligence solutions.
- Develop ETL Packages using Pentaho, Apache Stack, and Power BI.
- Provide technical leadership that allows the team to enrich their technical skills, understandings, and development toolsets.
- Create and execute unit test cases and unit test plans.
- Monitor and train technical and non-technical team members.
What are we looking for?
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience in MySQL, ETL, Business Intelligence tools.
- Strong working knowledge in software development
- Being familiar with the use of Pentaho, Apache Stack and Power BI.
- Desire to work in a fast pace, fast-growing and highly innovative, and international environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Exceptional ability to work with cross-functional teams to build partnerships and get things done
- Experience in developing best practices, software principles, and code design concepts
About Schedule!
Working Hours and Schedule:
- 40 plus hours per week - Must be willing to work overlapping hours as needed
- Monday to Friday
