Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect - MEAN

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in the MEAN stack to lead the design and delivery of modern, scalable applications. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding architectural decisions, mentoring engineering teams, and collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional groups to develop innovative full-stack cloud solutions. This position requires a hands-on approach to technical leadership and a strong ability to translate complex requirements into clear, executable plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs using the MEAN stack.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout full-stack development initiatives.
- Evaluate legacy applications and define target state architecture and design.
- Mentor and guide technical teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Database, CTO organization, and API Economy groups.
- Engage directly with clients to gather requirements and present architectural solutions.
- Resolve ambiguity in complex problems and bring clarity to project execution.
- Enforce adherence to agile methodologies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Oversee integration, monitoring, and testing strategies across the technology stack.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Over 12 years of professional experience in software development and architecture.
- At least 6 years of experience designing and developing front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Proficiency in Angular and Node.js with strong expertise in the MEAN stack.
- Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, Lambda, and additional services such as Kinesis, Firehose, and CloudWatch.
- Skills in container orchestration and serverless architectures, particularly using EKS and DynamoDB.
- Solid background in TypeScript and Java development.
- Knowledge of databases including DynamoDB and legacy systems like DB2.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and testing tools including Cucumber and API testing frameworks.
- Proven experience working within agile development environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and leadership skills to guide teams through ambiguity.
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher.

Preferred Qualifications
- Competency in PostgreSQL is considered a plus.
