Solutions Engineer

This role involves gathering, analyzing, and detailing software requirements, covering functional, quality, usability, and other non-functional aspects. The candidate will study the business environment related to software and product development, including understanding the business structure, relevant systems, stakeholders, and the context that drives the software need. They will develop detailed requirements specifications and related documentation while facilitating project teams during impact analysis for software change requests. Close interaction with subject matter experts, customers, and other stakeholders is essential to elicit and clarify business needs and capture the overall project and product vision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, elaborate, and specify comprehensive software requirements, including functional and non-functional criteria.
- Study and understand the business context, structure, systems, and stakeholders related to software development.
- Develop clear and detailed requirements specifications and associated artifacts.
- Facilitate project teams in conducting impact analysis for software change requests.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, customers, and requirements providers to clarify and validate business requirements.
- Capture and document project and product vision through stakeholder interactions.
- Coordinate with requirements providers and Project Managers to prioritize deliverables effectively.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Software Architects, and development teams to analyze and elaborate requirements to the necessary level of detail.
- Develop external design specifications and support Architects and Team Leads in refining these documents.
- Facilitate consensus within project teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and resolve any conflicts.
- Act as an internal requirements provider by suggesting product enhancements that offer competitive advantages.
- Support Software Architects, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders in validating requirements.
- Participate in process definition and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Quality Engineering.
- Take responsibility for information security tasks within the scope of assigned work.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in software requirements analysis and specification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
- Domain knowledge in Prepaid Card services, Banking, and financial services.
- Understanding of systems engineering principles.
- Ability to conduct cost/benefit analyses.
- Experience with full-cycle Business Intelligence (BI) implementations, from requirements gathering through delivery.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
- Familiarity with modeling techniques and methods, including use-case diagrams, business model diagrams, and flowcharts.
- Experience with bug tracking and reporting tools such as Jira and Quality Center.
- Flexibility with working hours to meet project demands.
