The role involves performing sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician, ensuring accurate and timely imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and care. The candidate will prepare preliminary reports and communicate findings to referring physicians when necessary, following established protocols. Coordination with other healthcare staff is essential to provide comprehensive patient care, addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively. The position requires organizing daily work schedules, performing clerical duties, and maintaining a safe environment for all patients within the sonographic area. The candidate must exercise independent judgment during examinations to distinguish between normal and pathological findings and convey relevant information to the appropriate medical professionals. Additionally, the role includes reporting equipment malfunctions and collaborating with the Departmental Director or scheduling team to ensure adequate workload coverage. The individual will also be responsible for the mental and physical comfort of patients and may be assigned other tasks by supervisory staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform all sonographic examinations as requested by the attending physician.
- Prepare preliminary reports and communicate with referring physicians according to established procedures.
- Coordinate with healthcare staff to ensure appropriate patient care.
- Address and resolve patient care issues as they arise.
- Organize daily work schedules and complete related clerical duties.
- Maintain patient safety and well-being within the sonographic area.
- Report equipment failures to supervisors or relevant staff members.
- Use independent judgment during exams to differentiate between normal and pathological findings.
- Analyze sonograms, synthesize sonographic data with medical history, and communicate findings to physicians.
- Coordinate work schedules with the Departmental Director or scheduling desk to ensure workload coverage.
- Ensure the mental and physical comfort of patients during procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Department.

- Proven experience in performing diagnostic sonographic examinations.
- Ability to prepare accurate preliminary reports and communicate effectively with physicians.
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily schedules and clerical responsibilities.
