Sonologist

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing and interpreting a variety of ultrasound examinations, ensuring accurate diagnostics to support patient care. This role requires hands-on experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient safety and effective communication with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to clinical requirements, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, small-parts, and other relevant scans.
- Interpret ultrasound findings accurately and prepare detailed, timely reports for referring physicians.
- Ensure proper patient identification, positioning, and safety throughout all procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive and precise patient records and documentation.
- Communicate ultrasound results effectively with referring doctors and clinical teams to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Required Qualifications

- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Diploma in Ultrasound or a relevant postgraduate qualification in sonology.
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Sonology.
- Proven experience in performing and interpreting a wide range of ultrasound examinations.
- Previous work experience in a hospital, diagnostic center, or tertiary care setting is highly preferred.
