Sourcing Internship

VortexCommerce is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented China Sourcing Intern to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers in China to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Support the procurement process by preparing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, quality assurance, and finance to streamline supply chain operations.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing fluctuations.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve issues related to product specifications, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Help maintain supplier databases and assist in supplier performance evaluations.
- Participate in negotiations under supervision to achieve favorable terms and conditions.

Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in international trade and supply chain processes, especially related to China.
