The Sourcing Specialist role is a full-time remote position focused on identifying, attracting, and engaging qualified candidates across various industries and roles. This position requires proactive talent sourcing through job boards, social media, professional networks, and databases to maintain a robust talent pipeline for both current and future hiring needs. The specialist will work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements, screen candidate profiles, conduct initial outreach, and coordinate subsequent steps in the recruitment process. Additionally, the role involves supporting market research, analyzing sourcing metrics, and recommending strategies to enhance candidate quality and sourcing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Proactively source and engage qualified candidates using diverse channels such as job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and internal databases.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to gain a clear understanding of position requirements and candidate profiles.
- Screen candidate resumes and profiles to assess suitability for open roles.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and manage communication to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Maintain and update a strong talent pipeline to meet current and future hiring demands.
- Support market research initiatives to identify trends and opportunities within talent pools.
- Analyze sourcing metrics and data to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and recommend improvements.
- Assist in managing relationships with external agencies and sourcing vendors, including procurement and contract negotiation activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth progression of candidates through the recruitment process.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in recruiting and talent sourcing, with demonstrated ability to use job boards, social media, and professional networks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging candidates and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sourcing data, track pipeline metrics, and optimize search strategies.
- Proficiency in procurement and contract negotiation, especially in managing external agency relationships.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR technologies is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing multiple requisitions and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
