The Role
The Associate Director, Data Analytics & Visualization will oversee the development of two distinct but cooperative teams – Data Warehouse and Data Analytics – each with their own respective lead.
The role of the Data Warehouse team being to work with platform teams throughout the business. They will ingest, transform, and prepare data for reporting and analysis across a wide range of use cases. The team will utilize modern serverless/cloud architectural strategies to drive efficiency and resilience. The team will partner with the Data Analytics team in order to prepare data that provides the details and insights required by the business to drive critical decision making.
The role of the Data Analytics team is to partner with both the business and the Data Warehouse team to design analysis and reports that surface meaningful insights for our business partners. They will leverage mature knowledge of data analytics to produce actionable reports and metrics. They will also maintain the Tableau server environment used to house these reports. They will provide governance around this platform in order to make it available to the business as a shared resource.
The incumbent will play a hands-on role in maturing and driving innovation in both these towers
