The Role: Learning Program Manager - Instructional Designer

As a learning program manager you will support S&P Global cross-divisional operations, product and technology teams to create a best-in-class performance culture to power the markets of the future and support employees to deliver on the business strategy and the vision for the future.

In this this high-profile program, you will interact with and work alongside innovative, driven executives and leaders and also gain exposure to the workflows and activities of employees across all S&P Global divisions and locations.

Responsibilities: The Learning Program Manager leads the development, maintenance and delivery of employee targeted, instructor-led and technology deployed training content and solutions. This role will build & grow a cyber security awareness program in alignment with the CISOs priorities and mandate. You will collaborate closely with internal subject matter experts to determine needs, design curriculum, curate or develop content, ensure quality of delivery and work with company leadership to validate program alignment with business needs.

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content

  • Work with subject matter experts to identify the target audience’s training needs; Perform learning needs analysis to inform creative approaches to educational program design and to define appropriate L&D deliverables

  • Work with creative teams to create and integrate multimedia elements such as audio and video into eLearning modules, workshops and other educational presentations

  • Interface with third parties to curate and manage educational offerings and ensure alignment with the EssentialTECH brand and approach.

  • Facilitate the efforts of training-related project teams from project inception to completion – includes stakeholder management and project management (create schedule, manage project timeline and proactively utilize both quality control and risk management activities; track and report on project milestones)

  • Develop metrics, reporting, recognition and remediation based on phishing exercise results and training program impact; Monitor, evaluate and analyze business impact and the practical, on-the-job application of delivered learning programs.

  • Create and implement plans/processes/activities to engage employees with the practice and application of acquired skills and knowledge

  • Administer LMS course- and report-related functions

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, business, education, instructional design, graphic design or other learning discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience and proven success working within a corporate L&D environment including application of instructional design skills and familiarity with adult learning principals
  • Ability to manage competing priorities; ability to have multiple projects in flight at once and in various stages
  • Ability to bring together sound learning principles, agile methods, learning technology and program management skills in the design, development and execution of learning programs
  • Collaborative work style with ability to adapt to change, solicit input, influence, and support decision-making
  • Proven success working with senior stakeholders; influencing decisions and direction
  • Excellent listener; seeks broad input and feedback; employs frequent and effective follow-up
  • MUST HAVE solid written & verbal communication skills for storytelling and story boarding
  • Working knowledge in developing content in L&D authoring tools. (i.e. Articulate)
