Quality Control Supervisor (Electrical Engineer)

Spark Solar Pvt Limited is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Supervisor with a background in Electrical Engineering to oversee the testing and quality assurance processes involved in solar inverter technology. This role requires leading and supervising a skilled team of 20 professionals responsible for the testing, commissioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and updating of solar inverters to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and has a strong understanding of electrical systems, solar photovoltaic technology, and quality assurance methodologies specific to the solar energy sector. This position demands hands-on expertise in inverter testing, firmware and software updates, system configuration, fault detection, and resolution procedures. It also requires excellent team leadership and coordination skills to manage daily testing operations effectively while promoting a safe and accurate working environment. The candidate will act as a key liaison between technical and project teams, ensuring communication is clear and testing milestones are met promptly. Strong problem-solving abilities and reporting skills are essential to maintain high standards of quality control and drive continuous improvement within the team and processes.
Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of 20 testing personnel to ensure high-quality standards in the testing and commissioning of solar inverters.
Oversee the entire testing lifecycle including configuration, commissioning, fault troubleshooting, firmware/software updates, and validation of inverter performance.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for testing processes to guarantee accuracy, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with project management and technical teams to align testing activities with project schedules and technical requirements.
Monitor daily testing progress and evaluate team performance, providing guidance, training, and support to improve efficiency and quality.
Analyze test data to identify trends, risks, and areas for process improvement, and prepare detailed reports for management review.
Manage resources and equipment ensuring proper calibration, maintenance, and availability to support testing operations.
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and promoting best practices among team members.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to electrical systems and inverter functionalities to ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate inventory and requisition of testing materials and equipment to avoid disruption in the testing workflow.
Foster continuous learning by encouraging team member development and staying updated on advances in solar and electrical engineering technologies.
