Solar Technician

Spartan Solar is seeking a dedicated Solar Technician with at least one year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate specializes in solar panel installation and is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent service. This role entails installing, maintaining, and repairing solar energy systems to help clients harness clean and renewable energy efficiently. The Solar Technician operates under minimal supervision and does not manage a team but plays a crucial role in the technical execution and operational success of the companys solar projects. The Solar Technician will work closely with project managers and other technicians to ensure solar systems meet design specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities include assessing site conditions, configuring solar equipment, running electrical wiring, and testing system performance. The technician must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to troubleshoot technical issues independently. Responsibilities

Install solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties according to design plans.
Conduct site assessments to determine appropriate solar panel placement and layout.
Mount solar panels, inverters, and associated hardware securely and safely.
Run electrical wiring and connect solar panels to the power grid or battery storage systems.
Test solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve system malfunctions.
Follow all safety protocols and local codes to maintain a safe work environment.
Assist in documenting installation processes and compiling technical reports.
Coordinate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
Keep up to date with solar technology advancements and installation techniques.
