This role is for a Specialist Cyber Security Operations position based in Islamabad, reporting directly to the Manager of Identity and Access Operations. The successful candidate will be part of a 10-member team responsible for the daily management of Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms, primarily One Identity Manager and PingID. The focus of the role is to ensure secure and efficient management of user identities, access provisioning, authentication, and compliance monitoring. Additionally, the specialist will play a key role in Phase 2 of the IAM Project by supporting application integrations, automating processes, and ensuring alignment with corporate security policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, monitor, and maintain One Identity Manager and PingID platforms on a daily basis.
- Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access modifications across Active Directory, enterprise, and cloud environments.
- Respond to all IAM-related monitoring alerts within established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain IAM workflows, ensuring proper execution of approval processes and access requests.
- Document and escalate major incidents or recurring operational issues promptly to relevant teams.
- Perform IAM data sanitization and maintain platform hygiene to ensure system integrity.
- Support integration of new applications with One Identity and PingID for Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with application owners and IAM Level 2/3 teams for requirement gathering and onboarding activities.
- Assist in documentation, configuration validation, and tracking of project deliverables sign-offs.
- Participate in testing phases, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and go-live support during Phase 2 rollout.
- Follow predefined runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all IAM activities to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to higher-level IAM teams while maintaining ownership until resolution.
- Work closely with Security Operations Center (SOC) and IT teams to resolve authentication or policy violations.
- Maintain clear communication and update tickets in accordance with SLA commitments.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on provisioning status, incident trends, and compliance key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Continuously update and improve IAM operational documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Support the creation of dashboards for access governance metrics and system health monitoring.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Cyber Security, Identity & Access Management, or System Administration.
- Hands-on experience with One Identity Manager and PingID/PingFederate or similar IAM solutions.
- Proficiency in One Identity Manager administration, provisioning, and workflow management.
- Experience with PingID/PingFederate for SSO, MFA, and authentication management.
- Solid understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), IAM lifecycle, and compliance controls.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and access provisioning workflows.
- Basic knowledge of authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
- Exposure to Windows and Linux environments, patch management, and IAM integrations.
- Strong communication and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
