We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our Network Operation Center (NOC) team in Lahore. This full-time, onsite position involves managing and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices from Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei. Responsibilities include setting up and supporting routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, monitoring network performance, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The role requires quick response to network outages and proactive problem-solving to enhance overall network stability and efficiency. Experience working with both LAN and WAN environments is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and configure Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices.
- Configure and manage routing protocols including BGP and OSPF, as well as switching technologies like Dot1q, EtherChannel, and STP.
- Support and maintain existing WAN and LAN infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network routers and switches.
- Respond promptly to network outages and recommend solutions to improve performance.
- Participate actively in ongoing network support and maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in network engineering or operations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Telecommunication Engineering.
- Professional certification such as CISCO CCNP or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MPLS, BGP, OSPF, LAN, and WAN technologies.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
