Specialist - Software Engineering

We are seeking a Senior .NET Full Stack Engineer with hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot to enhance code quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of experience working with .NET Core, Angular 18, and Azure cloud services, with a strong focus on building scalable, secure, and maintainable applications. This role requires expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, layered architectures, and integrating modern front-end frameworks with robust backend services. The candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and distributed systems following best practices.
- Architect solutions using layered vertical slice patterns, including Controllers, Services, Repository, and Unit of Work, applying SOLID principles and dependency injection.
- Develop and optimize data access layers using Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring performant queries and effective migration management.
- Build responsive and maintainable front-end applications using Angular 18, RxJS, NgRx, and Angular Material.
- Secure Web APIs by implementing authentication and authorization protocols such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) with MSAL.
- Utilize Azure services including Azure Service Bus, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Key Vault, App Service, and Application Insights to support cloud-native application development.
- Implement automated testing strategies using xUnit and Moq for backend, Jasmine and Karma for Angular, and Playwright or similar tools for end-to-end testing.
- Follow Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, conduct code reviews, refactor code, apply design patterns, and support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices concerning design, performance, accessibility, user experience, security (including OWASP Top 10), and scalability while maintaining clean, testable, and well-documented codebases.
- Manage source control and collaboration workflows proficiently using Git, including pull requests, and leverage Azure DevOps Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts to support agile team processes.
- Refine GitHub Copilot prompts to generate accurate and efficient code suggestions, particularly for async/await patterns, dependency injection, and minimal APIs.
- Use Copilot to assist in diagnosing exceptions, improving error handling, and adding guard clauses and logging.
- Validate all AI-generated code to ensure correctness, stability, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in full stack development with a strong focus on .NET Core and Angular 18.
- Proficiency in .NET Core, Angular, Azure Cloud Architecture, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, distributed systems, and layered architecture patterns.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and writing performant SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with Angular frameworks including RxJS, NgRx, and Angular Material.
- Knowledge of securing APIs using JWT, OAuth 2.0, and Azure AD with MSAL.
- Practical experience with Azure services such as Azure Service Bus, Blob Storage, Key Vault, App Service, and Application Insights.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for both backend and frontend.
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies, TDD, CI/CD, and code quality practices.
- Proficient with Git workflows and Azure DevOps tools.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
