Specialist - Software Engineering

We are seeking experienced Full Stack Engineers with strong AI expertise to design, develop, and deploy full stack applications leveraging Claude AI and other Generative AI tools. The role focuses on accelerating engineering workflows throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design to deployment and monitoring. Candidates will work on building scalable, production-grade applications that integrate advanced AI/ML capabilities to enhance product features and development efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
- Deeply understand codebases and system designs across multiple languages including Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and evaluate system designs at scale, regularly participating in pull requests and substantial code assessments.
- Utilize AISDLC frameworks such as BMAD, GSD, and SPECKIT to guide development processes.
- Design and deliver end-to-end web applications, including UI development, API creation, and database integration with AI features.
- Build scalable, production-grade RESTful APIs primarily using Python.
- Develop responsive, high-performance front-end applications using Angular 16 or equivalent modern frameworks.
- Integrate AI and ML capabilities from platforms like OpenAI, Azure AI, Claude, Anthropic, and AWS AI into product features via APIs.
- Use Claude AI to accelerate SDLC tasks such as code generation, code review, debugging, refactoring, and technical documentation.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques to create effective prompts that improve development productivity and code quality.
- Collaborate closely with AI architects, quality engineers, and business analysts within Agile squads to meet sprint commitments.
- Write clean, secure, and testable code aligned with architectural standards and coding guidelines.
- Participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Support cross-platform optimization, performance tuning, and scalability improvements.
- Integrate asynchronous messaging and event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies where necessary.
- Deploy and manage applications using containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of full stack development experience for proficient candidates; 6 to 8 years for specialist roles.
- Strong experience with AISDLC frameworks including BMAD, GSD, and SPECKIT.
- Proficiency in backend development using Java, Python, and JavaScript, with expertise in clean API design, versioning, authentication, error handling, and observability.
- Front-end development skills with Angular 16 preferred, or equivalent modern frameworks, focusing on responsive and high-performance user interfaces.
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and familiarity with WebSockets or real-time communication technologies is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for deployment, scaling, and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing.
- Proficiency in using Claude AI, Anthropic Claude, Sonnet, Haiku, or similar AI tools for daily engineering tasks.
- Ability to craft, iterate, and optimize prompts for code generation, explanation, review, and test creation through prompt engineering.
- Experience integrating AI by calling large language model (LLM) APIs such as Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and AWS Bedrock from application code.
- Understanding of LLM concepts including context windows, token limits, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), latency, and cost tradeoffs.
- Familiarity with AI tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot to reduce development cycle times measurably.
- Collaborative mindset to work with data scientists and ML engineers to productionize AI components.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Experience with application security frameworks, threat modeling, Secure SDLC, DevSecOps, and application security architecture reviews.
- Knowledge of architecture patterns and software design styles.
- Familiarity with Claude Code, design patterns, software engineering principles, and design architecture.
- Experience with Spring Boot and TypeScript is advantageous.
