We are seeking a dedicated full-time Speech Therapist to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. This on-site position operates during morning hours and offers a competitive salary range of PKR 50,000 to 80,000. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties primarily in children. The role requires developing personalized therapy plans, maintaining detailed documentation of patient progress, and working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric clients.
- Design and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to each child’s specific needs.
- Monitor and document patient progress regularly to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support holistic patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and coordinate interventions.
- Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development outside of therapy sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Therapy, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience in speech therapy, preferably working with children.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development, as well as common communication and swallowing disorders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Ability to maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with professional standards.
