Speech Therapist

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Speech Therapist to join our team and provide expert care to individuals experiencing speech, language, communication, and swallowing challenges. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough assessments, design personalized therapy plans, deliver effective treatment sessions, and closely monitor patient progress. Collaboration with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure comprehensive support for each patient’s communication needs and overall development. This position requires in-person attendance at the designated work location.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
- Provide direct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and interventions.
- Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with professional standards.
- Collaborate effectively with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on communication strategies and therapy goals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of therapy services.

Required Qualifications
- A recognized degree or diploma in Speech-Language Pathology or Speech Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid professional certification or licensure to practice as a Speech Therapist.
- Proven experience in assessing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed clinical documentation and patient records.
