Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the dispatching of trucks according to schedules and routes.
- Communicate with drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor and track truck locations using dispatch software.
- Resolve any issues or disruptions in the transportation process in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear and efficient communication with both drivers and customers, ensuring any updates or changes are communicated effectively.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the trucking industry.
- Familiarity with the logistics industry.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualities:
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
