A Well Known Restaurant seeks a skilled Manager Accounts & Finance to supervise and lead its accounting and finance functions. The successful candidate will manage a team of 10 professionals, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a Chartered Accountant intermediate qualification and a minimum of five years of relevant experience. The individual will work closely with leadership to implement strong internal controls, optimize cash flow management, and enhance financial performance of the organization. The Manager Accounts & Finance is responsible for maintaining comprehensive financial records, managing store and inventory accounting processes, and spearheading cost control strategies. The role demands proficiency in various accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze and report on financial data accurately. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounts and finance team of 10 members to achieve departmental goals effectively.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts in compliance with statutory regulations.
- Develop and monitor budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic financial planning.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance and internal control standards across all financial operations.
- Manage audit activities including planning, execution, and reporting, coordinating with internal auditors and external agencies.
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of transactions.
- Implement and maintain internal audit procedures to safeguard assets and enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct variance analysis and financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for cost reduction.
- Manage cash flow effectively to meet organizational financial obligations without disruption.
- Support store and inventory management with accurate accounting practices and financial oversight.
- Utilize accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to the accounts and finance team, fostering professional growth and development.
- Coordinate with other departments to align financial management with business objectives and operational needs.
- Evaluate and improve financial control systems to increase accountability and reduce risk.
