SQA Analyst

Contour Software, a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc., is looking for a skilled SQA Analyst to join its Karachi office. The company has grown from a small R&D and accounting back-office into a global center supporting diverse functions across more than 100 countries with over 2,000 employees in three cities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the high quality and timely delivery of enterprise application releases by working closely with division-based R&D teams within the resource-center group.

Key Responsibilities
Perform manual testing of enterprise applications to verify functionality, reliability, and performance. Use ticket and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and Confluence to manage test cases and report issues effectively. Develop and execute test scenarios using SQL for data validation and verification purposes. Collaborate actively within Agile/Scrum teams to ensure testing activities align with the software development life cycle (SDLC). Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, with familiarity in tools like Jenkins and Microsoft Azure DevOps considered advantageous. Leverage AI-driven testing tools to enhance automation, optimize test case generation, and improve defect prediction. Apply AI/ML-assisted technologies such as Copilot or ChatGPT to accelerate test case creation, code generation, and debugging. Continuously evaluate and adopt AI-based testing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. At least 1 year of experience in software testing, preferably with enterprise applications. Proficiency in defect tracking and ticketing tools like JIRA and Confluence. Strong understanding of SQL for data manipulation and validation. Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
