SQA Engineer Intern

We are seeking a motivated Computer Science graduate to join our team as an SQA Engineer Intern. This full-time, paid internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing by working closely with experienced QA engineers and developers. The role involves assisting in testing web and mobile applications, documenting findings, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The position is based onsite in PECHS Block 2, Karachi, and follows an afternoon shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and executing test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual testing across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, and various web browsers.
- Identify, record, and document bugs or usability issues effectively.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to understand application features and requirements.
- Support regression, functional, and integration testing activities.
- Participate in user interface and usability testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Document test results and assist in preparing detailed reports for the team.
- Learn and adhere to QA processes, methodologies, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:
- Recent graduate in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle and testing concepts.
- Familiarity with web and mobile applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman and JIRA is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is advantageous.
- Exposure to testing AI agents will be considered an asset.

This internship follows a two-step interview process consisting of an online technical assessment followed by a final onsite interview. Candidates must be comfortable with a full-time, onsite work arrangement in Karachi.
