SQA Engineer

Impetus Systems (FlowHCM) is seeking a motivated SQA Engineer to join their team in Karachi. This role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or professionals with up to two years of experience to develop their skills in software quality assurance. The selected candidate will undergo comprehensive training in both manual and automated testing techniques, gaining hands-on experience in executing test cases, defect reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position requires a commitment to quality and a willingness to learn within a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a structured training program to build a strong foundation in software testing fundamentals, including manual and automated testing methods.
- Execute test cases under the guidance of senior or mentor SQA team members to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Assist in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, ensuring clear communication with the SQA team for effective resolution.
- Develop and maintain detailed test documentation such as test plans, test cases, and test results to support quality assurance efforts.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and quality objectives.
- Familiarize yourself with the organization’s quality assurance processes and best practices to contribute effectively to the team’s success.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and across departments.

Experience:
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
