SQA Engineer

Dubizzle Labs is expanding its engineering team in Pakistan, currently comprising over 400 professionals. We seek passionate individuals who are eager to learn, perform, and share knowledge. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing world-class suite products that support the rapid growth of our business across 10 countries.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality advocacy.
- Write detailed test cases based on business and technical requirements, use cases, and design documents.
- Perform both black box and white box testing, coordinating the QA process by tracking defects and managing release cycles.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Maintain focus and prioritize workload effectively to achieve high-quality results.
- Lead initiatives to improve QA processes, aiming to enhance quality and reduce testing cycle times.
- Implement Software Quality Assurance (SQA) lifecycle processes for projects.
- Report test outcomes and progress to management teams.
- Conduct security testing, including penetration testing.
- Work within Agile/Scrum development frameworks.
- Perform REST API testing.
- Utilize strong SQL and relational database knowledge to support testing activities.
- Stay current with emerging testing tools and technologies.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a focus on testing web and mobile applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, actively contributing to product development and technical architecture discussions.
- Startup mindset characterized by curiosity, intelligence, and proactivity.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills to meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and planning capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
