SQA Engineer - Manual

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Manual Tester with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our team and contribute to the quality and reliability of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and the QA team to thoroughly test applications, identify defects, and verify fixes. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our products meet both functional and non-functional requirements, ultimately delivering a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements to develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, smoke, and usability testing.
- Document and report software bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting screenshots.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, isolate, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Validate bug fixes through thorough retesting to confirm resolution.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings within Agile frameworks.
- Suggest improvements to testing processes and quality standards to enhance overall product quality.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a QA Manual Tester.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, Bugzilla, or Asana.
- Proficient in writing and executing comprehensive test cases.
- Good working knowledge of SQL queries for data validation purposes.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
- This is a full-time, in-person position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs70,000 to Rs110,000.
