SQA Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in software testing, understand industry-standard QA methodologies, and collaborate closely with experienced developers and QA engineers. The internship will provide hands-on exposure to various aspects of quality assurance within a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing software requirements and technical design documents to ensure clarity and completeness.
- Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on requirements.
- Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications to detect bugs and glitches.
- Log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Conduct regression testing following bug fixes to confirm issue resolution and maintain software quality.
- Collaborate with the development team to gain a thorough understanding of software functionality and assist in resolving issues.
- Participate actively in daily stand-up meetings and QA planning sessions to stay aligned with project progress and priorities.

Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with writing test cases and fundamental testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Basic knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, automation tools like Selenium, or database testing using SQL is a plus but not mandatory.
- The internship is based in-person at our office located in Karachi, providing a collaborative and engaging work environment.
- Shift timing for this role is from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- The position offers a monthly stipend starting from Rs 20,000.
