SQA Intern | to Parmanent Role

Softmatic Solutions is seeking a motivated SQA Intern with up to six months of experience to join our dynamic team in Garden Town, Lahore. This full-time, onsite position operates from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM and is ideal for fresh graduates eager to build a career in software quality assurance. Candidates preferably come from reputable institutions such as PUCIT, UMT, FAST, NUST, UET, UOL, or COMSATS. As a growing software development company, we specialize in application and game development using technologies like Xamarin, Cocos2d, Unity, Flutter, Native Android, and iOS. We also provide services in WordPress development, .NET solutions, and Power BI for business intelligence and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual testing on websites and applications to ensure functionality and performance.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand new features and technical requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Verify that software products are free from bugs and operate efficiently across multiple platforms.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive test cases, scripts, and related documentation.
- Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing as needed.
- Communicate testing results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and Waterfall model.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Preferably a graduate from recognized universities such as UMT, FAST, NUST, FC, or COMSATS.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Hands-on experience with manual testing processes.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools to log and manage defects.
- Exposure to automation testing is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages is advantageous.
