SQA Manual Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced SQA Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our web and mobile applications through comprehensive testing practices. This position requires a hands-on approach to designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements.
- Perform thorough manual testing of both web and mobile applications to ensure functionality and usability.
- Conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance product quality.
- Participate in requirement reviews to provide early feedback and ensure the testability of features.
- Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing prior to product releases.
- Ensure applications meet user experience and performance expectations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation and reports.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, and Bugzilla.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes.
- Experience with cross-device and cross-platform testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
