We are looking for a skilled SQL Database Developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. This mid-level role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL databases that support various applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in MS SQL Server and a solid understanding of database design, performance tuning, and security best practices. This position requires collaboration with development teams to deliver efficient and reliable database solutions while ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL databases to ensure high functionality, security, and availability, including regular backups.
- Design and fine-tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to enhance application performance using MS SQL Server.
- Maintain data integrity and security across multiple databases, adhering to relevant data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate closely with development teams and project managers to define technical solutions and contribute throughout the application lifecycle.
- Manage database administration tasks such as migration, integration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Implement scripting and automation to streamline database operations.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide ongoing support to ensure system stability.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve system efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a SQL Server Developer.
- Proficient in T-SQL scripting, stored procedures, and database schema design.
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience with database schema design and normalization principles.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with C# .NET and REST API development is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Knowledge of the .NET Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience working with other database systems such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
