LDP Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its Finance team at the Bahadurabad, Karachi location. This full-time, on-site role operates Monday through Friday, from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks. This position requires confidence in interacting directly with C-level executives and senior management, providing critical financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and reconcile ledgers, financial records, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank accounts, vendor and customer accounts, and general ledger (GL).
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports.
- Utilize QuickBooks for maintaining accounting records and processing transactions.
- Develop financial models, dashboards, and reports using advanced Excel functions to support analysis and decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and overall financial planning activities.
- Conduct variance analysis and deliver meaningful financial insights to management teams.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual transactions promptly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, vendors, auditors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth financial operations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations tailored for C-level executives and senior management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CA, CMA, or an equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proven hands-on experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build complex financial models and dashboards.
- Solid experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to interpret financial data and identify issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in a fast-paced business environment or with USA-based companies is advantageous.
- Confidence in engaging with senior management and C-level executives to present financial information clearly and professionally.
