Sr. AI Engineer

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our team in Karachi at Shahrah-e-Faisal on a full-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions that enhance both customer-facing products and internal engineering processes. You will be working at the cutting edge of Agentic AI, autonomous software engineering, and enterprise AI platforms, driving innovation that addresses real-world business challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop production-grade AI applications using Python and contemporary AI frameworks.
- Create autonomous AI agents equipped with planning, reasoning, memory, tool integration, and multi-agent orchestration capabilities.
- Build AI-driven software development lifecycle (SDLC) workflows to automate business analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions leveraging enterprise knowledge bases and vector databases.
- Integrate AI systems with Git, CI/CD pipelines, project management tools, enterprise applications, and third-party services.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Operations teams to deliver impactful AI initiatives.
- Conduct research on emerging AI technologies to foster continuous innovation within the organization.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python.
- Proven track record in building production AI and large language model (LLM) applications.
- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, or similar tools.
- Expertise in building RAG architectures using vector databases like FAISS, Chroma, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus.
- Solid understanding of OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, prompt engineering, structured outputs, and tool/function calling.
- Experience working with FastAPI, Django REST Framework, or Flask.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and MLOps best practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of AI evaluation and observability tools such as LangSmith or Phoenix.
- Background in building enterprise AI copilots or AI platforms.
- Experience in mobility, transportation, or rental technology sectors is advantageous.
