Sr. Associate - Accounts Receivable

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities

- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Prepare and send accurate invoices while tracking incoming payments.
- Reconcile account balances and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Follow up with clients regarding overdue payments to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Address payment inquiries and negotiate payment terms when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, receipts, and client communications.
- Set up new client accounts and assess appropriate credit limits based on company policies.
- Support month-end closing activities and prepare accounts receivable reports.
- Identify and flag high-risk accounts for further review and action.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures throughout all processes.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts receivable or credit control is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data management and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to manage client relationships.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and collection processes.
